Muireann started playing the violin at the age of six in the Cork ETB School of Music. She continued with CETBSM until the completion of her Grade 8 in 2022. While attending this school she led the Cork ETB Youth Orchestra and competed in the CETBSM Recital Competition multiple times, with her quartet finishing in second place in the Chamber music section. She also received a special achievement award for her work in her orchestra in 2022. 

Muireann spent the past year studying under Gregory Ellis in the Cork School of Music. She is a current member of Cork Symphony Orchestra. She is currently a student on the BMus course in Cork School of Music.
