Micheál fitzgibbon is a traditional musician from Co.Limerick. He is at present a student in Mary Immaculate College and is studying for a B.Ed in primary teaching.  He is a multi-instrumentalist . He plays an array of traditional instruments including the Uileann pipes, harp, flute ,tinwhistle, guitar and bouzouki and has experience teaching all traditional instruments.

He has won many medals in the fleadhanna cheoil at both provincial and allireland level across a range of instruments in both solo and group competitions. He was selected to tour Ireland and Britain with Comhalthas in 2019 and 2020. He was a member of the Limerick group ‘finsceál’ which won the prestigious All-Ireland Siansa Gael Linn competition in 2019. He was also presented with the Micheál O’ hEidhn medal for distinction in the highest graded SCT exam.
