Leanne Curtin

Voice and Piano 

Leanne is a passionate performer who was previously a student at Musica Fusion and decided to continue her passion in the MTU Cork School of Music. 

Leanne is an enthusiastic performer, songwriter/composer and ensemble leader. She is a past member of the Irish Youth Training Choir and is currently Assistant Music Director for Cork Gospel Choir. 
Leanne also has obtained her grade 8 in Musical Theatre singing and has had extensive training in musical theater throughout college. Her recent roles include: Featured vocalist for ‘Stepping out’, Riff Raff in ‘Rocky Horror Picture show’, The Moon in ‘Addams Family’ and ensemble vocal captain for 3 years. She has also been playing the piano since the age of 10. 

Leanne has spent time in college learning and understanding different vocal techniques, training techniques and genres. She aims to create a broad knowledge and understanding of the voice and how each person's individuality can shine through their performance. 

Leanne has worked as a gigging musician for years where she has sang and accompanied music for ceremonies. She has also performed in venues such as The Opera House, Crane Lane, Cyprus Avenue and The Roundy in Cork and Stoney Mountain in Maine. Leanne is currently a member of ‘The Papa Zitas’ and ‘Saidi Sessions’. 

Leanne has an immense passion for creating, collaborating and celebrating music with others. She looks forward to meeting and teaching so many wonderful students! She is excited to share her love of music with her students.
