Niamh Fenton

Performing Arts

Niamh is a final year Education and Psychology student at Mary Immaculate College, Limerick.

Originally hailing from Fermoy, Co. Cork, she has performed in several productions on Cork stages from a young age with the Montfort College of Performing Arts, Cork Arts Studio and Brightlights Studios. Such productions include Dance Overtures, Name in Lights, 100 Years of Broadway, Aladdin (Persian Pearl), Sleeping Beauty (Princess Aurora) and the following with Fermoy Musical Society: Crazy For You (ensemble) and The Music Man (ensemble/dance captain).

As a current member of Mary Immaculate Dramatic Arts Society (MIDAS), she has appeared in Godspell (2017; ensemble), Seussical the Musical (2018; The Cat in the Hat/dance captain) and most recently choreographed A Chorus Line (2019) while also playing the role of Lori, the choreographer.

Having completed LAMDA examinations in both ‘speech and drama’ and ‘verse and prose’, as well as dance examinations in ballet, tap, musical theatre and jazz with the International Dance Teachers' Association (IDTA), Niamh became a drama tutor at home in Cork under the guidance of Valerie O’Leary, and later a dance and musical theatre tutor at Brightlights Studios, Cork. She is extremely excited to share her love for performing with the children in her classes at Musica Fusion School of Music and Dance.
